In Presence, I wanted restraint to carry the weight. A small flame becomes the center of attention while the surrounding field stays dark, still, and watchful. The cross is not pushed forward as spectacle; it appears more like a veil, something perceived in quietness rather than announced.
This work is about nearness, prayer, and the kind of light that steadies a room without overwhelming it. On metal, the image keeps its edges and glow, so the flame reads clearly while the darker tones remain disciplined and deep.
Metal gives this image a clean, contemporary presentation with vivid color, sharp detail, and strong edge definition. Dust with a soft microfiber cloth. For light marks, use a soft damp cloth and avoid abrasive pads or harsh scraping tools.
