Art for Significant Spaces
I love design because it is where visual order, meaning, and purpose meet.
When color is pleasing, the lines are clean, and the meaning of the artwork aligns with an assignment, a room changes. The eyes have a place to land. The mind has a focal point. The atmosphere becomes quieter, clearer, and more intentional.
Many of my prints are created for Christians who want to curate the atmosphere of significant spaces — homes, offices, studios, hospitality settings, prayer rooms, ministry spaces, and places of leadership.
That is why Anne Reid Artist prints are available in multiple sizes and mediums. The goal is not simply to decorate a wall, but to help each work meet the scale, season, and metron of the space it is meant to serve.
Placement tip: the strongest choice is not always the largest possible size. The right artwork size should feel anchored to the room, generous for the wall, and proportionate to the furniture or architectural space around it.
Quick Size Guide
This chart is meant to help you think quickly about scale. Exact availability varies by artwork, medium, and aspect ratio.

Custom Print Sizes
If you are sourcing for a specific residential, designer, hospitality, ministry, or commercial project, custom print sizes are possible.
For standard orders, available print sizes appear in the dropdown menu on each product page, along with the medium and framing choices.
For custom print sizing, the largest width I can usually go for squares or verticals is 48", and the largest height I can usually go for horizontals is 48".
Custom project sizes are handled directly rather than through standard online options. If you are working from room photos, elevations, architectural plans, or a specific install requirement, please get in touch with the project details.
For standard-size artworks, metal prints usually have at least one, and sometimes two, larger sizes available beyond the paper and canvas range.
Framing Options by Print Medium
Framing choices vary by print medium, size, and product configuration. Paper prints may include the widest range of framing options, including wood, barnwood, wide metal, and mat choices. Canvas prints may include float-frame profiles. Metal prints may include selected unmatted frame profiles, including float-frame, wood, barnwood, or wide metal options.
The final available choices appear in the product dropdown menu after you select the print medium and size. If a frame or mat option does not appear in the dropdown menu for a specific artwork, size, or medium, it is not available for that configuration.
Paper Print Framing
Paper prints may offer box wood, flat wood, barnwood, and wide metal frame options. Some paper print frames may be available unmatted or with 2", 3", or 4" mat widths. Mat-width options apply to paper print framing only.
Barnwood frames: Natural Barnwood with Cap and Whitewashed Barnwood options.
Wide metal frames: Black Metal - Wide and Silver Metal - Wide.
Mat options: 2", 3", or 4" mats where available.
Canvas Print Framing and Finishing
Canvas prints may offer selected finishing choices, including edge treatment, gallery-wrap depth, framing, and premium canvas surface options. Available options appear in the product dropdown menu after you select canvas as the print medium.
Canvas edge options may include a mirrored image edge or a selected border color. If the border color option is available, you may choose from the color palette or enter a custom hex code for a more specific color match.
Gallery-wrap finishing options may include 0.75", 1.5", or 2.5" depths where available. Framing may also be offered for selected canvas configurations.
Canvas-compatible float-frame options may include:
Float Frame - White Wedge
Float Frame - Pewter Wedge
Float Frame - Gold Wedge
Float Frame - Black Wedge
Float Frame - White Slim
Float Frame - Black Slim
Additional canvas surface options may include premium canvas with lustre laminate, premium canvas with glossy laminate, or premium metallic canvas where available. These options may affect the final look, surface sheen, and presentation of the print.
Metal Print Framing
Metal prints may offer selected unmatted frame profiles, including float-frame, box wood, flat wood, barnwood, or wide metal options. Metal print framing does not use mat-width options.
Metal-compatible frame families may include:
Float frames: White Wedge, Pewter Wedge, Gold Wedge, Black Wedge, White Slim, and Black Slim.
Wide metal frames: unmatted Black Metal - Wide and Silver Metal - Wide options where available.
Simple Compatibility Guide
Matted frames: Paper prints only.
Unmatted box wood, flat wood, barnwood, and wide metal frames: Paper and Metal where available.
Float frames: Canvas and Metal where available.
Canvas prints: Float-frame options only from this frame list.
Because frame availability can vary by artwork, size, medium, and live product configuration, the product dropdown menu is the final authority for available ordering choices.
Acrylic Print Finishing Options
Selected artworks may be available as acrylic prints where offered in the product dropdown menu. Acrylic print options can include face-mounted presentation choices with different backing and mounting styles.
Acrylic finishing options may include Dibond backing or paper backing, with cleat mounting or post hardware depending on the selected configuration.
Possible acrylic finishing choices may include:
Dibond Back w/ Cleat
Dibond Back without Cleat
Dibond w/ Small Posts
Dibond w/ Large Posts
Paper Back w/ Cleat
Paper Back without Cleat
Paper Back w/ Small Posts
Paper Back w/ Large Posts
Additional acrylic options may include a LexJet Metallic Upgrade where available. This can affect the final surface character and visual presentation of the print.
Because acrylic print availability and finishing options can vary by artwork, size, and live product configuration, the product dropdown menu is the final authority for available ordering choices.
Greeting Cards
Selected artworks may also be available as 5" × 7" greeting cards. Greeting card options appear in the product dropdown menu when they are available for a specific artwork.
Greeting cards may be ordered as a single card, a pack of 10, or a pack of 25 where available. Each option includes white envelopes.
Greeting cards are printed flat rather than folded, on a smooth surface with a glossy coating that helps the artwork image shine. A personal message or greeting can be added on the inside using the message field during ordering.
Because greeting card availability can vary by artwork and live product configuration, the product dropdown menu is the final authority for available greeting card choices.

Hanging & Placement Guidelines
These guidelines are meant to help you make confident placement decisions at home or on a project site. They are practical starting points, not rigid rules, and final placement should always respond to the room, ceiling height, furniture scale, and the visual weight of the artwork.
General wall height
As a starting point, aim to place the center of the artwork at about 57" to 60" from the floor. This usually feels natural at eye level in most residential interiors.
If the room has very high ceilings, or if the artwork is being placed above furniture, the furniture relationship matters more than strict eye-level hanging.
Above a sofa, console, sideboard, or headboard
When hanging artwork above furniture, leave about 6" to 10" between the bottom of the frame or artwork and the top of the furniture. This usually keeps the artwork visually connected to the piece below it.
If the gap is much larger, the artwork can begin to feel disconnected from the furniture and float too high on the wall.
How wide the artwork should be over furniture
As a general rule, artwork hung above a sofa, bed, console, or sideboard should be about two-thirds to three-quarters of the width of the furniture below it.
For example, if a sofa is 84" wide, the artwork or combined grouping often looks strongest when it spans roughly 56" to 63" visually.
Recommended sizes over a couch
For many sofas, medium works can feel too small unless they are part of a grouping. A strong single-piece recommendation often begins around 30" × 40", 36" × 48", 40" × 60", or 48" × 72", depending on the width of the sofa and the scale of the room.
For a larger sectional or long sofa wall, oversized horizontal pieces or a substantial grouping usually works better than a small centered work.
Recommended sizes over a headboard
Above a headboard, artwork often works best when it feels calm, balanced, and visually anchored to the bed. Common successful directions include 24" × 36", 30" × 40", 36" × 48", or a wider horizontal piece if the bed and wall can carry it.
As with sofas, the overall width should usually relate to about two-thirds to three-quarters of the bed or headboard width.
Statement piece sizes
If you want the artwork to act as a true focal point rather than a supporting accent, stronger statement sizes often begin around 36" × 48" and move upward from there.
For high-impact residential walls, entryways, stairwells, hospitality interiors, ministry spaces, or commercial settings, sizes such as 40" × 60", 48" × 48", 48" × 60", 48" × 72", and larger metal options where available can create a much stronger architectural presence.
Spacing between two works or within a grouping
When hanging multiple artworks together, a good starting gap is about 2" to 4" between smaller or medium works, and about 3" to 6" between larger works.
The goal is for the grouping to read as one intentional visual unit rather than a set of isolated pieces spaced too far apart.
Diptychs, pairs, and related groupings
For paired works, keep spacing consistent and relatively tight. In most residential settings, 2" to 5" between pieces works well, depending on size. Larger gaps can weaken the relationship unless the wall is very large and the works are oversized.
Small artwork on large walls
A single small work on a large wall can feel under-scaled unless that is a deliberate quiet choice. In many cases, a larger size, a stronger frame presence, or a grouping will create a better visual balance.
When to go larger
Go larger when the wall is long, ceilings are high, the furniture below is substantial, or the room needs a stronger focal point. A work that feels slightly larger than expected often reads better than one that is too small for the space.
What to Send
For the most useful recommendation, please send as much of the following as you can:
One or more room photos
Wall measurements
Ceiling height
Room type
The artwork, collection, or general direction you are considering
Your preferred medium, if known
Your approximate budget range, if you want pricing guidance narrowed more quickly
What Happens Next
After I review what you send, I can recommend a suitable size range, format direction, and medium option for the space.
If you are deciding between standard prints, custom print sizing, or an original, I can also help narrow down which route makes the most sense for the project.
If you want help applying these guidelines to your own room, send a photo of the wall, the wall measurements, and the artwork or collection you are considering.
