Summary
Two 5 is a contemplative ChromaLuxe metal print by Anne Reid Artist, designed for listening rooms, studios, and spaces where visual depth and atmosphere matter as much as sound. A 2024 square cropped print state derived from the 2020 painting Two, it tightens the composition around two silhouetted figures standing inside a swirling field of blue, orange, coral, and white light. The crop intensifies the sense of shared presence and atmosphere without losing the depth of the original work.
Artwork Statement
Two 5 draws closer to the center of Two — tightening the square format around the figures and the surrounding light so the image feels more immediate, more concentrated, and more intimate. The swirling color field carries both warmth and depth, and the two silhouettes standing inside it give the work a human scale that resonates without over-explaining itself.
Color & Mood
- Swirling blue, orange, coral, and violet field with warm-cool balance and visual depth
- Two silhouetted figures in the foreground give the composition human scale and presence
- Warm radiance balanced by cool inner light — intimate, luminous, and contemplative
- Rewards sustained attention — the color layers open up the longer you look
Design Notes
- The 1:1 square format centers the composition and gives the piece a balanced, contained presence on the wall
- The tighter crop creates a more immediate and concentrated viewing experience than the full original
- ChromaLuxe is well suited to this image — smooth light transitions and saturated color carry strongly on metal
- The figures anchor the abstraction without making it literal
Where It Works
- Listening rooms — the frameless ChromaLuxe surface brings visual depth and luminous color without the glare of glass, keeping the visual environment as intentional as the acoustic one. For dedicated listening rooms: position on the front wall between or behind the speakers, or centered on the back wall behind the listening position. Avoid side walls at ear height — these are first reflection points where any hard surface can affect the soundstage.
- Living rooms — vivid focal piece for neutral or softly layered interiors where the warm-cool color field carries the wall
- Bedrooms — intimate and luminous without becoming heavy; the square format sits well above a bed or on a feature wall
- Hospitality spaces — visual warmth and contemplative depth suited to suites, lounge areas, and corridors where atmosphere matters

Two 5, metal wall art — shown approximately 36 × 36 in. in a listening room setting.
Pairing Ideas
- Presence, metal print — single flame over still water in a warm-cool field — strongest color bridge and thematic counterpoint in the collection
- Shine 5, metal print — figures gathered around light in deep cobalt blue — shared human presence and atmospheric depth
- Burning Bush 7, metal print — fire-tree in deep violet field — square format match with a direct color bridge to Two 5’s lower violet tones

Integrity Notes
Two 5 is a 2024 square cropped print state derived from the 2020 original painting Two. Compared with the original canvas, this version presents a tighter detail centered on the figures and surrounding light field, with a brighter, smoother, and more concentrated image state. The underlying composition and atmosphere remain continuous with the source painting.

Notes from the Studio
Two 5 came from wanting to get closer to the center of the original painting — to let the figures and the surrounding light fill the frame more fully. On ChromaLuxe metal, the swirling color field opens up with particular clarity, which is why this piece works well in listening rooms and spaces where atmosphere and sustained visual attention matter.
