I painted Ezekiel as a vision of courage and calling — living creatures, wheels within wheels, and a grounded figure held in radiant motion and light. This print preserves an earlier blue-ground state of the original painting. Available on archival paper, canvas, metal, and acrylic.
Available sizes: 20 × 16, 30 × 24, 38 × 30 in
Original painting: Ezekiel, 2024, mixed media on canvas, 30 × 24 in.
Ezekiel 2, print is an open-edition fine art print by Anne Reid Artist — from the original painting Ezekiel (2024, mixed media on canvas, 30 × 24 in). This print preserves an earlier blue-ground state of the work before the original was revised to a titanium white ground. Radiant wheels, winged beings, and a solitary figure in an atmosphere of vision, calling, and awe.
Artwork Statement
I painted this work to hold courage and calling together. The figure below is steady, but everything above moves with intensity, witness, and holy pressure. I later changed the original's background to titanium white, but this print keeps the earlier blue-ground atmosphere that first carried the weight and mystery of the vision for me.
Variation & Edition Notes
Artist-Directed Print-State Edition — reproduces an earlier documented state of Ezekiel when the background was ultramarine blue. The original was subsequently revised to titanium white; this print reflects the earlier state. Standard print mastering applied; no compositional changes; no AI.
Color & Mood
Deep ultramarine blue against ember orange, rose, white, and gold
Luminous circular forms carrying both motion and reverence
Prophetic encounter, awe, courage, and spiritual intensity
Design Notes
Vertical 5:4 — grounded lower figure contrasts with charged movement above
Winged forms and circular structures create rhythm across the surface
Intentionally preserves the earlier blue-ground state
Where It Works
Living rooms above a console or sideboard
Studies, libraries, and offices where reflective imagery is welcome
Prayer rooms and contemplative spaces

Integrity Notes
Artist-Directed Print-State Edition of Ezekiel (2024, mixed media on canvas, 30 × 24 in). Reproduces the earlier blue-ground state; original subsequently revised to titanium white. The original is an underpainting state of the Ezekiel Remix painting. Standard print mastering; no compositional changes; no AI.
This piece brings me back to the kind of vision that does not flatter the viewer, but calls them — movement above, surrender below, holiness arriving with force as well as light.
