I painted a single dandelion releasing lighted seeds into a deepening sky — teal waters below, ultramarine above. The title comes from 2 Corinthians 4:17: our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. Not optimism as a mood, but hope as a discipline. This piece holds that paradox — the realness of strain, and the greater reality of promise.
