I created Covered by Glory as a color-transformed print edition of my 2018 original acrylic on paper — vivid blue, orange, coral, and green replacing the original's cool, subdued palette, expressing a woman moving from sorrow and hiddenness into the revelation of who she truly is, covered by the glory of God.

Covered by Glory is a vertical open-edition fine art print by Anne Reid Artist — a 2025 artist-directed color-variant edition of the 2018 original acrylic on paper. A bowed female figure flanked by two wing-like forms, her head beginning to lift toward light, carries a message of healing, emergence, and identity restored.
I began this painting intuitively, watching to see what emerged. A bowed female figure appeared — almost enclosed between two wing-like forms, her head lowered, carrying the weight of sorrow, rejection, and wounds. But her head was also beginning to lift, turning toward the light. That small upward movement became the spiritual center of the work: transformation already underway, not yet complete. At the time, I was walking through my own healing journey, and the image held both the vulnerability of being wounded and the promise of being restored.
The original 2018 painting carried a cool, subdued palette — blues, greens, and pale yellow. Years later, I experimented with hue and saturation using a photo editing tool, and the palette shifted dramatically to vivid blue, orange, coral, pink, and green. That transformation became part of the meaning: what had felt quiet and wounded now looked fiery, joyful, and full of glory. This 2025 print edition is that color-transformed state. The original 9×12 in acrylic on paper painting remains in the studio and is available. Collectors interested in the original may contact Anne Reid Artist directly.

For humid bathrooms and spa-style spaces, Metal or Acrylic are the strongest choices. Framed paper works well in dry, ventilated bathrooms with glazing.

Each print is produced using archival inks on premium substrates selected for long-term color stability. Handle with clean, dry hands and avoid prolonged direct sunlight. Wipe metal or acrylic surfaces gently with a microfiber cloth. Dust canvas lightly with a soft dry cloth. For paper prints, choose protective glazing where possible.
Orders are produced to order and shipped by my professional print lab partner in the United States. Production and transit times vary by size and finish; tracking is provided when your artwork ships. International orders may be subject to local duties, taxes, or import fees at delivery.
