Summary

Dove is an open-edition fine art print by Anne Reid Artist, created from a cropped detail of the 2020 commissioned original painting Pearl. Artwork Statement

I developed Dove from a larger commissioned painting titled Pearl, now in private collection. In the full painting, this form sits within a wider atmosphere of motion and layered symbolic presence. For this print, I chose to isolate the central wing form and surrounding light so the image could stand on its own with greater directness and stillness.

By narrowing the focus, the work becomes more contemplative. The circular band of light gathers the composition inward, while the lifted wing form carries a sense of shelter, ascent, and nearness. What remains is not a fragment that feels unfinished, but a complete square composition drawn from the heart of the original painting.

• 20×20 — a comfortable mid-range for bedroom walls, studies, and prayer corners.

Quality & Care

Keep the work out of prolonged direct sunlight to preserve color integrity. Clean framed glass with a soft lint-free cloth. Wipe metal or acrylic surfaces gently with a microfiber cloth. For canvas, dust lightly with a dry soft cloth.

Orders are produced to order and shipped by my professional print lab partner in the United States. Production and transit times vary by size and finish; tracking is provided when your artwork ships. International orders may be subject to local duties, taxes, or import fees at delivery.

Integrity Notes

Dove is a faithful cropped print derived from my 2020 commissioned painting Pearl. I selected this section to create a complete standalone square composition from the larger work. No generative AI, external compositing, or digital repainting was used. Only standard color correction and print-preparation adjustments were applied for accurate translation into print.
