I created Herald 117 as a vertical composite print state built from two source works — Harvest (2018) and The Apple (2017) — resolved into a single herald figure standing in gold, crimson, and blue-violet light. It is a messenger presence: upright, watchful, and charged with announcement.

I wanted the figure to feel unmistakably present while still withholding literal detail. The face is not the point. The calling, the bearing, and the sense of a message carried through light and fire are what matter. Emblematic rather than descriptive — it announces, holds its ground, and leaves room for contemplation.

Metal or acrylic for humid bathrooms. Glazed archival paper suits dry powder rooms. Canvas not recommended for high-humidity bathrooms.
