Summary
Blue Man 3 is a luminous ChromaLuxe metal print by Anne Reid Artist, designed for listening rooms, studios, and spaces where visual depth and atmosphere matter as much as sound. The figure moves toward the light — playful, purposeful, and alive with the spirit of the audiophile world.
Artwork Statement
The Blue Men series grew out of my connection with the Torus Power team — figures that reflect the atmosphere of listening spaces and the personalities who shape them. Blue Man 3 was created in honor of Kevin Main — drummer, writer, published author, and President & COO of Torus Power Inc. This figure moves toward the light: that moment of anticipation every audiophile knows, crossing the threshold into a room built for sound. The original work began as acrylic on paper, later digitally refined to develop its form and luminous blue atmosphere before translation to metal.
Color & Mood
- Luminous layered blues — depth, movement, forward energy
- Figure in motion — purposeful and quietly playful
- Warm undertones giving the blue field life and direction
- Strong vertical presence suited to architectural interiors
Design Notes
- Single figure in motion — energy without drama
- Vertical composition for listening rooms and tall wall placements
- ChromaLuxe surface enhances edge definition and tonal glow
Where It Works
- Listening rooms — frameless ChromaLuxe brings luminous blue depth without the glare of glass, keeping the visual environment as intentional as the acoustic one.
- Home theaters — vertical figure anchors front or back wall; scale to 30 × 60 or 40 × 80 for rooms where presence matters.
- Recording studios and music-focused workspaces — forward motion and audiophile register suit spaces where sound culture is part of the room.
- Modern interiors — frameless float mount, no glass, strong vertical line.
For dedicated listening rooms: position on the front wall between or behind the speakers, or centered on the back wall. Avoid side walls at ear height — first reflection points where any hard surface can affect the soundstage.

Notes from the Studio
The Blue Men figures later became part of the home theater concept image created to honor the Torus Power Inc. team — founders Kevin and Howard, and Ross “Rossie,” a technical support legend known to many customers in the audio community.
